Hello, we have a 1912 bungalow in Denver, Colorado. As shown in the picture, there is a small fissure between the outer brick wall of our house and the surrounding sidewalk. A home restorer working for us is suggesting we caulk the perimeter of the house. The grade of the walkway around the house is, for the most part, running down and away from the house.
My question: Is this small fissure really a problem, and if so, is caulk the best way to fix it?
